About the event

Live online workshop | Includes downloadable reflection tool

Strong, respectful relationships are at the heart of early childhood education. But when something isn’t working,  a team member’s approach, behaviour or mindset, it can be difficult to speak up, especially when you care deeply about maintaining a positive team culture.

This 60-minute online workshop is designed to support early childhood professionals to have the conversations that matter, even when they feel uncomfortable. Grounded in the neuroscience of communication and the importance of building trust, the session explores how our brain and body respond during emotionally charged moments and how to stay calm, connected and purposeful.

Whether you're guiding reflective practice, addressing concerns, or leading professional conversations, this session will offer practical tools to help you communicate with confidence and care.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Early Education Leadership acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their enduring connection to land, sea, skies, and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We honour the unbroken traditions of storytelling, learning, reflection, and connection held by First Nations communities and wisdom that continues to shape leadership, belonging, and growth across our sector.
