About my experience:
I’ve spent the last decade working alongside early childhood professionals—supporting leaders through some of the sector’s most complex challenges, including reform fatigue, change management, and emotional burnout. My background is in communication, emotional intelligence, and leadership development—not education itself—which means I bring an outside perspective with deep sector respect. I’ve had the privilege of coaching Directors, Educational Leaders, and teams across urban, rural, and remote services, and I’ve seen firsthand what changes when leaders feel supported, steady, and connected to purpose.
What mentoring means to me:
Mentoring, for me, is about being deeply present. It’s about creating safe space for reflection, being generous with what we’ve learned, and walking beside someone without needing to fix them. True mentoring isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about holding space for courageous growth, honest conversations, and gentle accountability. It’s one of the most human, relational ways we can build capacity in others.
Strengths and wisdom I bring:
I bring strong skills in reflective communication, emotional regulation, and navigating conflict with clarity and care. I know how to hold space for messy conversations, support people through self-doubt, and reconnect them with their own wisdom. My strength is in noticing what’s unsaid, guiding with calm presence, and always anchoring back to values and purpose. I’m not here to lead the way—I’m here to walk with you while you lead yours.
