About the event

A one-day immersive workshop designed to help early childhood leaders and educators learn practical tools for cultivating presence, calm and clarity for themselves, their teams, and the children in their care.

Educators and leaders in early childhood education juggle countless responsibilities while supporting children during their most important years of development. In the busyness, it can be hard to stay calm, grounded, and present. Yet, this is exactly what children need most from us. Research shows that educator wellbeing directly impacts children’s wellbeing: if we’re not regulated, they can’t be either. This workshop offers practical, evidence-informed tools to help educators strengthen their own self-regulation and wellbeing, explore the barriers that get in the way of sustaining mindfulness practices, and rediscover calm, presence, and balance in their teaching and leadership.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Early Education Leadership acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their enduring connection to land, sea, skies, and community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We honour the unbroken traditions of storytelling, learning, reflection, and connection held by First Nations communities and wisdom that continues to shape leadership, belonging, and growth across our sector.
